More information about Guide groups in East Sussex

Guides are aged ten and over and there are 76 Guide groups in East Sussex. Guides get together every week to do lots of exciting things and generally have a good laugh.  Girlguiding Sussex East offers guides so many amazing opportunities to have their say, get involved, travel and make things happen.  If you’d like your daughter to become a guide, contact us.
Across East Sussex Guides groups meet up every week in halls and schools from Brighton and Hove to Rye, Battle, Hastings and St Leonards.  Being part of a guide group is a great way to make friends outside of school.  As a guide you can take part in camps and adventures.  In 2010 Girlguiding Sussex East hosted a big international guide camp, with guides from Estonia, Nigeria, Japan and Chile.  Girlguiding Sussex East will host another international camp in the summer of 2015.
Girlguiding Sussex East is very lucky to have such a large number of active Guide groups.  We’re always on the look out for new guide leaders to ensure we can provide all the activities and adventures the girls want.  You don’t need any special experience or skills, we’ll provide all the support you need.  Volunteer by contacting us click here.
